So i actually had my first experience as a guest designer at the Grand Opening of Art Inspired a brand new scrapbook store in Brentwood, CA. I was asked by my friend Suzy West to be a guest designer for the month. It was a pretty cool experience!!

OMG... Its been forever!!

So... i have been gone forever but have decided to restart my blog!! A lot of things have been going on in my life and i want to share them with you... Even tho i am pretty sure no one is following my blog anymore.

I have recently celebrated my 5 year anniversary with Qais, i was recently admitted into the Masters Program at CSU East Bay and I am still working full time at the mental health clinic in UC.

Qais and i have been exercising every evening now, whether it is soccer, volleyball, basketball or walking.

I also was asked to be a the Maid-of-Honor by my friend Ivone... I am sooo super excited!!

I know it is a lot but i will keep you posted!!
(that's what i said last time.. hahaha)

Scrapbook Expo and Disneyland!!!

Mom, Noel and I went to the Scrapbook Expo last weekend... We had a blast!! Minus the rude lady that was pushing my moms stuff!!! I did 4 layouts total and am actually proud of them!! This week has been a little hard but I seem to be coping... Not well but enough!! The family... Including Qais... Is going to DISNEYLAND!!! Were really excited because it's for Nicos birthday and it is also is first time!! The cool thing is that it is free because we are using our GIVE A DAY. GET A DISNEY DAY. Tickets. We will also be hitting up LEGOLAND while we are in the area!! It should be a lot of fun!!

I know it has taken forever for me to update my blog but here i go...

Disneyland
DAY 1

Qais and I in line for The Tower of Terror... about 2 hours after arriving in Anaheim

Qais with Belle... This was at Ariel's Grotto in California Adventures... When you first arrive, Ariel is waiting for you at the end of a beautiful spiral staircase... And all of the Princesses (Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Cinderella) come you your table while you eat... It was so COOL!!

I will totally be there for the opening of this ride in 2011!!

DAY 2

Qais had made us reservations for us at Minnie's Kitchen for Breakfast.

After breakfast... we walked out onto Main St. to find out that the parade was about to start in honor of the LA Lakers and Kobe was supposed to be on the float. The awesome thing was that while we were walking up... they opened a new section for people to stand so we got to be in the front!!

At the Mad Hatter... you can customize your own ears... so mine are pink and say Princess... and Qais got white ones and say Goofy.

Qais took this picture while we were waiting for the fireworks show... we had an awesome spot picked out and waited 2 hours for it to get dark... then it was so windy that we only got to see 10 mins before they announced that they were going to have to cancel the show! Luckily we had seen most of it the night before!!

On the 3rd day... we had Breakfast in Goofy's Kitchen, did a little bit of Disneyland and then drove home. I couldn't have asked for a better graduation present... (besides the awesome party my parents gave me)... and Disneyland truly is the Happiest Place on Earth!!

THE 4TH OF JULY

Since then... i have been to the wild 94.9 Comedy jam and the Beyonce Concert... and just let me say that she can totally put on a show!!! She was amazing!!!

I have also have had a relatively stressful time dealing with school. For those of you who didn't know... i was planning on going back to school in the spring to get my masters in Health Care Admin. But due to the large budget cut... all CSUs and State colleges stopped all enrollment for the rest of this 09-10 school year!! I will be going back in the fall but i was dropped from one of my classes because i was not in the program yet... the system is all over the place right now and i don't know if i will ever get my masters!!!

Lastly... i have been scrapping a lot more because PMP is closing!! i have to spend as much time at my home away from home before the store closing on Aug. 16th.

A NEW Chapter

Well... a chapter of life is finally over...for now!! I have graduated from college and feel as if i have nothing to do anymore. No more quizzes on Tuesdays, assignments on Thursdays or posts on Sundays. I do plan on going back for my Masters in Spring of 2010 but i miss the everyday business of scheduling and rushing to get everything done on time.

I am now officially a member of the 40hr work force. But i can happily say that that wont start until next week because my Loving Boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Disneyland!!! We are leaving on Wednesday and will be back on Sunday for fathers day.

I had a blast at graduation because there were NO assigned seats so i got to sit with all of my friends. It was sprinkling but once it cleared up it was a blast. The party was great... So many people showed up it was ridiculous!! Thanks to those who came or sent a card... Love Ya!

GRADUATION IS COMING!!

Well, I am officially on the graduation countdown... for the most part. I am not as excited as i thought i would be. There is this feeling like i should be having a party because things are hard right now. I am glad that i have friends and family coming but there are still a couple of people that i have not invited (*wink wink* NICOLE *wink wink*)... but mom says I'm not allowed to hand out anymore invites!! This is the way of getting around that... i never officially handed out the invite... i blogger invited!!
I have exactly 5 days before my actual graduation ceremony and 6 days before my party. We have themed it Luau but it is just the decorations... i haven't found anything to wear!!

THE BIGGEST POST EVER

Okay... so i have been yelled at by my mom, my boyfriend and Nicole for not updating my blog but i had no idea that so many people are interested in my overly exciting, amazingly wonderful, turn green from jealousy kind of life!!! HAHAHAHAHA... i know I'm hecka funny!!

For Easter... My parents went to Las Vegas and left me alone to fend for myself!! Okay... so it wasn't that bad... Qais came over, i cooked a roast with baked potato and broccoli and cheese. It was so nice because i cooked and Qais cut and cleaned. Then... he fell asleep!!!

So i didn't post for May because...
I have been totally overwhelmed with school. I am taking my last 3 classes: My Internship, Health Organizations and Senior Seminar. For two of them, there is only a 25% pass rate. I have been attending office hours every week and totally kissing butt.

Nico turned 6 on the 2nd of May so mom gave him a party at Chuck E. Cheese and the next day we took him to see Monsters vs. Aliens. It was a cute movie and he really seemed to like it... that and the popcorn!!

I have also been getting ready for the big day... not my wedding day but GRADUATION from COLLEGE!!! Qais and i went up to campus and he helped me take my graduation photo!! Here are some of the ones that we did!!

I have 19 days before i cross the stage and can say that I GRADUATED FROM CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, EAST BAY with a B.S. in HEALTH SCIENCE and a minor in BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION.

My clinic also walked in Union City's 50th parade with our Mental Health Awareness Float. I don't have any pictures right now but i will try to post some soon.

Today was my company picnic and then a bunch of friends and i went beach camping and had a bon fire. It was my first time and it wasn't so bad. Here are some pix... i know there are no people but that is because everyone was sleeping except Qais... thanks for the pix honey!!!

It has been so Long!!!

So today while i was at work i went to read all of my usual blogs and realized that i have not posted since March!!!

So here what i have been up to...

I had spring break a couple of weeks ago. I worked most of the time, had a doctors appt on the Monday and on the Friday i went to Napa with Qais. It was beautiful and the weather was wonderful.

After the wonderful friday... I started my final quarter and CSU EAST BAY!!
I couldn't be more excited and scared at the same time. I found out that 25% of the people in my internship class wont pass because they can not get a 70% or better on the final paper.

Last sunday was my mom's @#th birthday. We went to brunch and hung out at the house... she totally loved it. We got her a watch, a shirt, a new lunch bag, some body lotion and Qais got her an orchid and 2 hella funny cards.

SOOO... as of lately i have been having trouble talking about work and stuff because my family says that the stories that i tell are to long and boring. They have got into a habit of leaving the room when i start to talk about work so the only other person i have to talk to is Qais... and anyone who wants to read about it on my blog!!

MOM...Please avoid this section... Its about work!!!

So today i had an annoying social worker call... and to give you background... she has come in before and cussed us out and complained to our CEO about the terrible service we provide... but she is the one who is not Alameda county and is not supposed to be going to our clinic... sooo...
she called to verify her clients appointment for tomorrow and nothing there. She was talking to the new PA so she had no idea what was going on so i took over and had to call billing who said.. oops we forgot to make it after we talked to her last time... they are so stupid at our corp office. So i gave her the 10:30 appt and she argued with me to give her the 9:30 appt which was her original appt time. I ended up calling the 9:30 appt and moving her to the 10:30. Once i told the social worker, she thanked me about 4 times, asked me my name and told me that "NO ONE AT PATHWAYS HAS EVER HELPED ME SO MUCH AND I WILL BE TALKING TO YOUR CEO... THANK YOU SO MUCH... SEE YOU TOMORROW!!"
I know i cant stand her but it made the rest of my day worth while... it gave the the little boost i needed to finish out the day at work.

I know many of you skimmed or skipped the story but i just needed to get it off my chest.

This weekend i will be celebrating Qais' cousins birthday at a Hookah Bar... It should be fun!!!

AN UPDATE

Well... there has been major drama going on in my life...

For instance, the girl i work with came in and announced she is prego!!! I was going crazy because i was afraid they were going to keep her but my manager said she should be out by Friday...YAY!!

For school news... it is finals week and i totally f**ked up and missed one of my online finals. The rest of the week i have one tomorrow, and two due on Thursday!

Saturday is my first staff training with my new company and i am totally excited!!!

Then... Spring Break!!! I have a doctors appt. on Monday, working full time on Tues,Wed, and Thurs. and off on Friday!!

Well... a bunch of stuff has been going on and i have not been able to post anything. To start off... today is BEN'S 15th BIRTHDAY!! We went bowling on friday and are going out to dinner tonight.

Other then that... nothing special is going on besides school and work. My 90 days is coming up and i have to do my review. Sewing Machine

Yesterday mom and i sat down to attempt to figure out why we couldn't get my new sewing machine last time we tired it... Me being the genius i am... i wasn't locking the bobbin thing in place. Today i went and bought some templates and fabric. I also whipped out a layout with sewing!!

Update on the most IMPORTANT day of the year

hey hey...
Not much has happened since my last post... YEA RIGHT!! I TURNED 22!!

I was in class until about 9pm on Tuesday so my family and i went to La Cabana (my fav Mexican restaurant) on Monday and i got to open presents. The boys got me really cute earrings and some tees to wear under my scrubs (Ben wanted me to stop taking his..HAHAHA!)
After class on tuesday, Qais and Mo came over and dropped off more presents... Qais got me the Little Mermaid Trilogy, Mo got me an Ipod shuffle and their mom got me the cutest purse. That morning... Qais also dropped off 22 roses at my job... I can just say that PEOPLE were JEALOUS!!

Yesterday Qais took me to The Grill in San Jose for my birthday dinner. It was the most romantic place and the food was SOOOO good. Then we went to see He's Just Not That Into You... it was such a cute movie.

Two Days of Excitement

Well... Valentines Day was awesome!!! Qais and i hung out in San Jose and had dinner at out favorite restaurant... Sanoma Chicken. It was pretty kick back but i got the best present ever!!!
HE BOUGHT ME A NIKON D60... and a new photo album!!! He is the most amazing person i have ever met. He treats me so good... i couldn't ask for a better man to have in my life (besides my papa).

Today... i went to to American Heart Association Crop at PMP in memory of a fellow scrappers husband.While there i bought tickets for the Bryant Young football (as mentioned before) and ... I WON!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a happy dance and everything... Pictures were taken and i will try to get copies to post in couple of days.

I also got to reunite with my girl ANGEL... who decided to have kids and no longer work at the store (HAHAHA). I miss you!!!

Tomorrow i am going to dinner with my work friends and Tuesday i turn 22!! YAY!!

HeY HeY... I am at lunch right now eating my Delicious SmartOnes Mac n Cheese!! Why you ask... because mom and i have joined Weight Watcher!! Both of us have decided that were bigger then we need to be and wanna look like HOTTIES in June!!
I wanna buy a new (one piece) swim suit... how exciting!!
If i'm lucky... i can even buy a new dress for my anniversary!!

On a more frustrating note... that girl i work with called in "sick" yesterday for her birthday which was fine... but today she totally "text" in sick today!!! I so can not stand her!!!!!!

Hey Hey Hey... I KNOW it has been a LONG time since i have posted and all of my DEVOTED fans have been bugging me to post something.

SOOO... since December life has been CRAZY!!!

I have been working at my amazing job... with all the drama and such!!
This girl i have been working with is totally gonna get fired. she talks about her personal life in front of the patients and doesn't do any work!! There is way more drama but i don't have enough time to type it all... that's how much stuff there is to talk about.

On a more up beat note... it is 2009!!!

Since December... we celebrated New Years, Went on a trip to Vegas, and have been anticipating the arrival of Feb (i will explain later!!)

New years was quiet... or as quiet as it could be at my house. My Parents, brothers, boyfriend and i played DOODLE DICE and PICTIONARY MAN.
We blew off fireworks and tired to take pictures but were having a little too much fun and they turned out a little blurry...

On the 16th of January... Qais and i DROVE to Las Vegas. It was an exciting trip from the beginning...

On the way there we had a little car trouble. The battery was leaking acid and started to smell really bad... so we stopped to get a new battery and i took pictures... like a good scrapper does!!!

The first place we went was to the HOOVER DAM. I hadn't been there is soooo long and Qais had never been there at all... He totally loved it!

Once we finally got to Vegas... We went to my Grandma's house and took her out to dinner for her birthday... which was the 14th.

Vegas was beautiful and the weather was great. We went into every hotel since Qais hadn't been there in a REALLY LONG TIME!! I'm not gonna post all the pictures but here are the ones that turned out really awesome!!

Once we got back... we were EXHAUSTED!!

Since then... I have attended a football banquet and the Smokey Robinson concert.

Not to mention going scrapping every Friday at PMP!!

Next weekend is Valentines Day, Sunday is the AHA Crop at PMP and my Birthday is on Tuesday!!!

The Holidays

Okay... i know is skipped over Thanksgiving in my last blog.
Thanksgiving was spent with family. All of my uncles came over and we ate turkey and took naps on the couch.

Christmas was the same. My cousins Jenny, Jasmine, Dany, Rocio and Mi.

I HAVE BEEN SOOOOOO BUSY!!!!!!

I was in the process of checking other blogs when i clicked on mine and realized that i have not posted since Nov. 25!!
Well... i have been very stressed but everything has circled around and things are looking up.

I finished my fall quarter at CSUEB with 4 A's and one B. I was very happy because it also raised my gpa from a 2.966 to a 3.024 (unofficially).
I also started my new job this week. I now work at Pathways to Wellness in Union City. It is a medication clinic for mentally ill patients.
Wednesday was my first day and it was terrible. They were short staffed by 4 people, there was no management, the girl that was supposed to train me was gone that they were double booked most of the day.
I caught on fast and they told me today that they are gonna keep me permanently, but i still need to pass my 90 day review. And since i work there 37 hours a week, i qualify for benefits and personal time. THAT IS SOOOO COOL!!
The staff is great and... besides helping the patients... we laugh all day long. I couldn't have asked for a better place to work.

As for the holidays... i am spending them with my family. I am going out tomorrow to go site seeing and ice skating... i love this time of year.

I am happy to announce that Qais and i had our 3 1/2 years come up on the 16th... we were so happy that he finished school for this semester and that i officially got the job that we didn't even realize it until a couple of days later.

OMG!!! After stressing, crying and arguing with everyone...

I GOT A JOB!!!

I am now employed at at BHR Pathways to Wellness. They have a medication clinic for patients with mental illness down the street from my house. I am supposed to start Dec. 2 but one of my former supervisors is out until Dec. 1 so I'm not sure what is going to happen.
I was so excited on Friday when i got a call and they offered me the position. They gave me $.50 more an hour then i asked for and they are willing to work around my schedule.

YAY ME!!

On Friday... i went to the SJSU football game where they lost hecka bad to Fresno State. Then on Saturday, my family to me to La Cabana... my favorite Mexican restaurant... to celebrate.
Sunday... i returned all the clothes i bought on Friday (impulse buy) and got the cutest top at Macy's.

Life is awesome right now!!

Besides the group project for school... my group members are all flakes.
I also have 2 papers to write but they are easy and on topic i already know about!!

It seems like it has been forever since my last post... Its because it has!!!! To all my devoted fans... I'm sorry!!! J/K I think only 4 people read it... oh well!!

I have been really busy with school and looking for a job...still! I actually had an interview last Friday and they called me back on Monday and scheduled another one for this Friday with the CEO. I'm excited... it is at a medication clinic in Union City that deals with patients with mental illnesses. I have 2 weeks until finals and then I'm on break... YAY!!

The only other news is that my goddaughter is moving... far far away (Indiana). Luckily it will give me somewhere to go for spring break...HAHAHA!

Two days ago... History was made... because of me and my friends. The majority of people between the ages of 18-29 (66%) voted for Obama. This election year... this population was the lever that was going to tip the scale. I think that people stepped up and took it upon themselves to do what they believed was right. I am proud to say "I Made History!"

Little Taste of Life

Well... i sent a picture to my blog off of my phone but it hasn't posted. Yesterday... i made the cutest boxes for a couple of my friends. I can say boxes because i made two! I was watching JOURNEY to the CENTER to the EARTH... with B.F. - MUMMY MAN (who is hella cute!!)... and i can not (did not) successfully multitask. HAHAHA!

Last night we carved pumpkins but all of the pictures are on my moms camera. Tomorrow is HALLOWEEN and i am totally excited. Tonight i am going to pick up the last piece to my costume from Cindy... i need her skirt.

I currently have been stressing about graduation in the spring and... after looking at my classes for next quarter... i will be taking 24 units (16 at East Bay and 8 at Chabot). For those of you no longer in school... thats like working 2 full time jobs at the same time. The bad thing is that i am still looking for a job and am able to work 40 hours. Qais said part time was okay but not full time... I'll see what i can get!

So it has been awhile since i have posted... and a lot has happened!!

Last week...

Was Qais' 21st birthday... We went Go Karting with his cousins.

He got 1st place... i got last... surprise surprise!!

I had my first midterm in my Government Health class... I got a B-

Qais and i went to the biggest corn maize ever... but i forgot my camera... so i was kinda upset

I also had a midterm in my Business Communication class... i have not got the results back!!!

Yesterday... neither of the boys went to school and my mom was off so we stayed in our pajamas until about 1pm and then went to the park for a photo shoot.

This morning my family and i went to see my uncle, aunt and goddaughter in Davis... and where did we go???

Football and Halloween

Well... Yesterday i went to my first Halloween event of the season... unless you count going to the Spirit store to check out costumes (even tho i know what I'm going to be!!).

...

Yesterday was Qais' Homecoming for SJSU. We went to the football game against Utah State.
We won 30-7.

Then we went to...

There was a haunted house, a small carnival and a little gift shop. It was so cute!
They even have a fairy walk through for the kids who are scared!!

Qais bought me a Tiara... And got a little scared my the witch!

Crazy Dayz!!

I know a large amount of time has passed since my last post but things have been crazy.

Stanford called me back for a second interview... I'm so excited!!!

Ben's Freshman football season has officially started... were 0-1... with a game tonight

I started my SENIOR year of college!!!

Last weekend was a little crazy all by itself...

On Friday, Mom and i went to the movies... just the two of us... to see Nights in Rodanthe. It was a great movie and mom cried like a baby!!! I only had one tear (and yes mom... a heart of stone).

From there we went to the Logan football game to watch them lose :(

Saturday... Mom, Ben and i went to see Journey, Cheap Trick and Heart!! It was totally AWESOME!!!

Not that things have settled down... i can start celebrating my favorite month of the year... OCTOBER. Why October? Because all the leaves change, it is okay to bring out the cute sweaters, and... HALLOWEEN (my favorite holiday).

Funny Story...

On Monday... around 10pm... i realized that it was going to be October 1st so i text some of my friends that i knew i was going to have class with, asking them to wear fall colors so that i could have a picture to scrapbook. The funny thing is... they actually did it and were excited!!!

Well... its been a while since my last post but nothing has really changed.
On Monday i went up to CSU East Bay to look at books (so i could buy them cheaper online), bought my parking pass (i was shocked... it was $60), and finalize my business minor classes (i picked the right ones... YAY!!).
Today i will be cleaning the house for my mom... as a surprise!!
TOMORROW... I have an interview at Stanford University!!!
I applied yesterday at about 2pm and i got a phone call at about 10am this morning. I am excited but also nervous. And for those of you who don't know... I DON'T LIKE BRIDGES! There is no time like the present to overcome a fear!!
Tomorrow night i will be back at home at the Logan Stadium watching the JLHS Colts... i (heart) Football!
Saturday... Ben (and the rest of the Freshman Football team) will have there first scrimmage against Irvington... on there home turf!
Sunday... the Last A's game of the Season... (sad face)!

Stress and Crying

Well, to start things i want to say that i went on my first interview in 6 years... and it lasted all of 60 seconds. My school schedule didn't fit in with what they needed at the company... Oh well! On a similar topic... i have been so stressed out about about finding a job that i often find myself crying for no reason... like now as i right this. This is one of those rough spots in life that people talk about. hopefully i find something and if i don't then i can focus on school... which i do a lot right now to get my mind off of other things. i'm supposed to graduate in June if my classes pan out right... but you know how life is!!! All i can do now is pray for candy bars and ice cream to heal my tears...HAHAHA!

On the lighter side of things... i became a godmother for the second time. I have a godson named Nicolas (my younger brother, 5 yrs.) and Noelle (my baby cousin, 5 mo.). I was so excited when my aunt kelly asked me to be her godmother. She was baptised this past weekend in Davis and then we hung out at my aunt Kelly's and uncle Cruz's house.

Hello Hello! I know i have been slacking on my postings but its because i haven't been doing much... except sitting at home watching Nico and searching for a job.

Last weekend Qais and i took our brothers to the A's vs. Twins game where the A's got smashed but it was all good because i got an As backpack. It was only for kids 14 and under but guess what... Ben is 14. He went back and got himself one too. After that i went out to dinner with three amazing girls... Suzy West, Rocio Duran and Michelle van Etten!!! We did take pictures but there not on my camera!!!

For Labor Day... My family went to Raging Waters for the day. We hadn't planned on the light breeze and most of us froze all day. By the time we got home... everyone laid down and took a nap... we were exhausted!!!

Yesterday... i applied for a job at Eden Medical Center. I don't think i have ever been so nervous in my life. In the last two days i have put together a resume and cover letter and actually sent it in. I'm shaking just talking about it!!
On a different topic... i also put together Michelle van Etten's book... but not the way i was supposed to... i redid it so it fit me!!!

This weekend was pretty awesome!! Friday afternoon i took Qais and Nico to Lake Elizabeth for some fresh air and that night my Da-dee and Ritchie came from Las Vegas. We hung out Friday night but they were tired so they went back to their hotel. They came over for a little bit on Saturday but the Boys and i went to the comedy jam. The Comedy Jam was awesome!!! We all laughed hella hard... the bad part was that we kinda got a contact HIGH because of everyone smoking around us. Yesterday... we had a family BBQ and just hung out at the house. It was a great visit!!

I can tell you that i got nothing done yesterday that was on my list. I printed out a resume outline, i worked on some school stuff, watched The Little Rascals with Nico, and went to PMP because I was having buyers withdrawals!! Today... I'll be cleaning the house so that my family can go out tomorrow and we don't have to worry about it when my Da-Dee (grandma) comes tomorrow night! I might take Nico to the park today if I have time. Well... It has been pretty kick back since my last post. On Saturday, moms horoscope said something about cleaning the house can wait and to do something she wants to... so instead of cleaning the house as planned... we Scrapbooked all day!! Sunday was a chill stay at home day... and my parents 18th wedding anniversary. Monday... Qais and i went to San Francisco. I surprised him with a Architecture Walking Tour through the financial district.

It was pretty cool!! Then we went Shopping on Post st. and the Powell st. mall. We went to Treasure Island, came home for pizza and went to boarders to end the night!!

Yesterday was Mo's birthday (Qais' Brother). He turned a big 18 so we went to Jump Sky High in Santa Clara. It is a big room full of trampolines. We paid for 2 hours and only lasted 15 mins. HAHAHA! Once we got the hang of it we tried to do tricks but no one succeeded!! From there we went to dinner with his family at the Elephant Bar.

Today my plan is to work on my resume, take Nico to the movies and scrap a little!! XOXOXOX

OmG!! My Crazy Week!!

My week has been a crazy one! To start things off... i should say that this was my last week of work for the Union City Leisure Services. I worked there for 6 years and for the most part... it was great! I have met a bunch of great people and some that aren't so great!

Monday was your typical day at Camp... Tuesday was the Camp Olympics... Wednesday was Raging Waters with work... Thursday was Lake Anza (and my last official day of work) and Friday i went back to Raging Waters with my family.

Also on Friday was the Hedgehog Staff dinner, the staff sports night at the sports center and a small party at Edna's house!!

I have been super busy! Wednesday was the carnival for work... it was crazy but it still ran smoothly. Thursday morning (2:30 am) Qais picked me up and dropped me off for my California Adventures trip. This is work trip... so i got paid to played!!

We leave at 3am and arrived at California Adventures by 10:30am. We played all day... got back on our charter bus and drove home! We got back at 5am... my mom picked me up and i went to sleep. Then... at 8am she woke me up and we left for the Scrapbook Expo. We did the all day 15 hour crop... i got 3 pages done!

Today... my family went to Capitola to hang out beach. We had tons of fun and i actually got in the water.

So far this weekend...

On Friday... my mom and i went cropping at Suzy's and i completed 2 layouts... one being a double page. we laughed and took this awesome video of Suzy herself...

Saturday... Mom took a canvas class at PMP and it turned out totally awesome... thanks to Michelle Tornay!! Then.. Qais and i went to our favorite place to eat... Bob's Giant Burgers...MmMmMm!! Then we went bowling and went to watch The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

Today... My mom decided to make my brothers and i go for a 2 hour walk with her through Garin Park... What fun (sarcasm!!) Then... Mom treated us to Olive Garden as a reward for living through the walk!! HaHaHa!

Tomorrow... i will sit at work and tell my kids what to do!! We will be setting up for the Union City Carnival that is on Wednesday from 12pm to 3pm at Old Alvarado Park in Union City.

Today was an Adventure!! My mom, brother and i decided to take a trip to Bodega Bay to scope out hotels for my parents anniversary. This town is famous because it was where the movie 'The Birds' was filmed.

We walked around, checked out the little beach there was and wondered why there were shark towers everywhere. We found out during lunch that there are leopard sharks in the water.

So... On Thursday Qais and i went to the Steely Dan Tribute Band concert in the park at lake Elizabeth. It was pretty cool but i only knew a couple of songs. On Friday, Qais and i went to the great mall and did Glow in the Dark Golfing. I have to say it is one of the coolest things ever!!! The theme is Under the Sea and everything is under a black light... Awesome!!! Then, last night some of my girls and i went to Vault Ultra Lounge. This was my first club...ever... and it was pretty cool!!

So... On Thursday i went camping with my kids from work. We went to Lake Chabot for an overnight and went swimming on Friday. Here are some pix:

Then... On Saturday, Noel, my Mom and i went Scrapping at PMP. Rocio came in at 3pm to rum the store and we decided that we (Noel, Rocio and I) were going to go see Mamma Mia!

I have to admit, i saw the play first but the movie was GREAT. It is hella funny... i even cried (from laughing). It is a must see!!

I know its been a while since i posted anything... but i dont really have anything to say!! Work is alright but i can't wait for it to be over... The love life is awesome and the home life isn't so bad either.

I just had a light bulb go off... i can talk about the 4th of July!!!

Work and Vacation

OKAY... so its been F-O-R-E-V-E-R since my last post but life happened.... and not in a good way. So last week was LIT training for work and one of the girls said that i called her a bad name. The next day i was on vacation and my boss hella calls me randomly and starts yelling!! To make this short, her mom doesn't want me to work with her anymore so i got bumped and from what i have heard from both parties, Both my supervisor and my friend and co-worker set me up. The new staff i am working will took me in today and made me feel like family.

On a more upbeat note, i took an actual vacation last week.... here is my adventure!!!

30 mins later... the Van breaks down and were stuck in a shopping center parking lot

We Leave at 5:00am... Tired and Frustrated!!!

Get over the Grapevine at about 9:00am and find a DENNY'S

Get to Magic Mountain at 10:30 to find out that it is terrible hot and there are hella people there

I'm not a ROLLER COASTER type person but i still had fun

We get to the Hotel and its in the middle of the GHETTO and out rooms are on top of each other

We all got a OKAY night sleep and off the Universal Studios

The weather wasn't as bad and we defiantly had a better time

I have to admit... these people are the only people I'm willing to travel with because we always have such a good time!!

the TRAINING weekend

This weekend is one that i dread and look forward to every year. It is staff training weekend. This is where all of the old and new staff get together and learn how to deal with parents, first aid and enthusiasm. One of the interesting aspects of my job is that we each get our own camp name. This is usually something found in nature and once you are giving a name, your stuck with it. We were there from 9am to 10:30pm on Saturday and 9am to 5:30pm on Sunday. By the time i got home my feet were throbbing and my head hurt.

P.s. Our theme was The Olympics
Some thing i learned this weekend:
1. My bosses expect a lot from me
2. Getting to know the staff i don't like has changed how i am around them
3. My co-workers are all dorks!
4. I LOVE MY JOB!

Crazy Dayz

Yesterday i was cramming during my Morning classes...10am -12pm & 12pm -2pm... from school i went to my brother track meet. He runs the 100m, 400m and the relay. The team went wild when Barnard- White got first place. It was the last meet this year and was held at Logan. SOOOO EXCITING!

So... i have also been studying for my Class B drivers license... the little bus!!

This morning, i woke up @ 6am to be at the corp yard at 7am to get the bus and was at Fremont DMV by 7:45am. I was dreading the pre-trip inspection because you have to know all the parts of the engine and the tires but i passes with only missing 7 of the 8 allowed. I got more right but she said she didn't hear me!! We started the road test but about a mile into it... i FORGOT for stop at the RAILROAD CROSSING!! i felt like an idiot. OH WELL! I have to call on tuesday to make another appointment.

Tonight i was supposed to go to SF to celebrate my girl VALs b-day but Jen cancled and i can't go by myself so I'm going to Olive Garden with Qais and then...
